Keith R. McCarthy is the company's President. He holds an accounting and finance degree from the University of Texas and is a licensed CPA in the State of Texas. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and has served on the audit committee of the Council of Petroleum Accountants Society (COPAS) for the past twelve years.

Before starting BRI in 1992, Mr. McCarthy was the controller of a privately held oil and gas company with responsibility for financial operations in the U.S. and overseas. He has held several management positions during his career giving him experience in most areas of oil and gas accounting. While at Felmont Oil, he was the General Accounting and Reporting Manager with responsibility for all auditing, property and reporting functions. Prior to working with Felmont, Mr. McCarthy worked with Newmont Oil Company, first as the International Supervisor and later as the Sr. Revenue Supervisor. Mr. McCarthy began his career with The Superior Oil Company working in the international and corporate accounting areas.
